Found an article on the Harvard datathon that actually has more info about archiving websites on your own through other sites such as the Wayback machine. I have tried other sites but the issue is many will only save a screenshot of a landing page but not the dataset. @BobMorris I’m not sure if you mean the additional sites/links they recommended for archiving, but they are in the gray box under “Tips for Preserving Websites.” The links they mentioned were End of Term Web Archive, Environmental Data and Governance Initiative and The Data Liberation Project, all sites where you send suggestions for them to archive. Not sure if that answered your question?
