This study is an excellent pilot into actionable data on how to increase the use of NAMs into research. The methods were clearly defined and justified, and future directions were both specific and broad enough to reveal actionable steps as well as overall concepts. However, the main author did not disclose her competing interest, which is a very problematic omission. Although the p-values were sometimes included (which is a strength of the paper), they could be added for all data. Additionally, the figures are quite elementary in their formatting and readability, lacking essential elements and appearing neither interesting nor informative. Overall, this is a great idea for a pilot study and well done with the available data, but there are clear areas where there can be significant improvement.
