Aurora Horstkamp and AimeePBernard-
I apologize for an error as I had mistaken the Covid Tracking project was one site that archived recent datasets, but it is no longer collecting data. The Covid Tracking project has data saved up to March 2021 though. I misinterpreted an email from the infectious disease committee bc it was written by someone who had worked on the Covid Tracking project in the past, and I thought they uploaded data there. These were the sites mentioned that archived data recently: Internet Archive, Data Hoarded Reddit, former CTP, BCH, and public environmental data project. I don’t know what former CTP and BCH stand for, but I can inquire and get back to you.

@BobMorris Personally, I think it should remain since it has data up until March 2021. I don’t know how to access the archived version of the site via the Harvard Library Innovations Lab.

Thank you to Jessica Malaty Rivera on the Infectious Disease Committee (who also signed up for the Communications Committee but I don’t see her in the list yet) for all the information I am relaying here. CTP is the Covid Tracking Project which is now fully archived and sent to the Harvard Database, GitHub, and potentially overseas partners who have offered storage space outside of the US. It’s nice to hear that we have many places archiving, even out of the country. BCH is Boston Children’s Hospital Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator which also completed an archive. Hopefully she will be able to update us herself when she joins the committee.

Jessica also shared this link which has access to pre-purge archived CDC websites (last updated today Feb 2): https://acasignups.net/25/02/02/links-archived-versions-every-cdcgov-page-available-pre-purge-part-1-15. Bob, please add to the Data Preservation tab. Thanks.

That would be great if the Infectious Disease Committee joined the site. I don’t see Gregg Gonsalves using the DPH site. I think it would be better for the 2000+ members to communicate here than using Google Groups. It’s more secure. What do you think? Maybe you should invite him to try it out and also suggest the Inf Dsz Committee use the site. There is another member here also on the ID committee who mentioned this site for communications within the ID committee in the Zoom meeting chat box, but it needed a live demo like you did for us for people to consider.
