7 weeks agoDPH Communications Committee I started to add some names into the media contact list – if there is a list in another format I would be glad to dump it into the google document/spreadsheet.
A note on local media outlets – they are more likely to work with local sources. Do we have a list of experts, contacts, availability and topics? A local paper in Ohio isn’t going to use a doctor from Minnesota as a source. A national media outlet might use a doctor from Minnesota for a story. Sorry to pick on Minnesota here.

May I suggest we also partner with outlets like Meidas Touch and Democracy Docket? And think about publishing in substack? There is a growing group who is shunning mainstream media sources in favor of people like Heather Cox Richardson, Marc Elias, or Joyce Vance, to name a few.
